Not local? No worries, you can ship us your laptop for repair. This service is available from anywhere within the US. The cost of $65 includes one-hour diagnostics & labor with return shipping from us to you. Additional labor and parts costs may be applicable.

You are responsible for packaging and paying for shipping to us. Once you have purchased this service, we will email you with shipping instructions and answer any questions you have prior to postage. We do not currently offer data recovery services for failing hard drives.

When diagnosing and fixing computers, the best method is to begin with the least intrusive. A remote session can usually fix computer problems such as system unresponsiveness, suspected viruses, or problems with specific apps. We can assist you over the phone, a video call, or via secure remote-control software. We primarily use Windows Quick Assist or Apple Screen Sharing for Mac. Another option is Google Chrome Remote Desktop. No matter which option you are comfortable with, your remote session will be secure and confidential.

Computers are essential to modern life and proper functionality is required. When they have problems, your personal or business operations can suffer. We travel to your location and conduct repairs on the spot. If your computer requires further work, we transport it to our service center. Once repairs are complete, we will bring it back to you

We always attempt complete repairs without requiring replacement parts. However, in the event that a part must be replaced, we will explain the process and reasoning beforehand. This will help you stay informed of the repair progress and avoid any surprise bills!

Just $5 per day.

We understand that being without a computer can cause unwanted interruptions. As a result, we offer the use of a Chiedza Solutions laptop until your computer is fixed and returned to you. This loaner laptop service is $5 per day and gets you a modern Windows 11 system. Your own fresh user account will be made, with some apps such as Microsoft Office installed and ready to use. You may set up this account with your own login information and system preferences. Once your own computer is repaired, you have the option of transferring any files you created on the laptop back to your own computer. The user account will then be securely erased. This service is only for local repairs within Dutchess County.

To begin, we offer an optional 30-minute consultation to help you design your system. Your preferences and needs will be taken into account, such as performance, RGB lighting, noise levels, cooling methods and so forth. Or you may simply send a list of components. Since we are not incentivized to sell any particular brands, our build advice is independent. We charge $150 for all builds and thus are not motivated to upsell you on anything you do not need. Once your computer's components have been selected, payment must be made upfront to proceed with the build. We will then assemble and test your computer before delivering it to you. Estimated time is one week, depending on parts availability. Your system will be covered under each component's manufacturer warranty once built.
