The Magnus is built to be an office productivity machine that offers space saving and style compared to traditional large tower systems. Despite the smaller size, this computer can house most full-size components.

Note that unless a Nvidia GPU is specified, this computer will not be built with a dedicated GPU card and will instead use the integrated GPU of the 9700X CPU. This will run some basic games but is otherwise severely limited.

Powering this system is the AMD Ryzen 9700X CPU. AMD offers no compromises in productivity tasks and offers a CPU upgrade path in the future, without changing any other components. About this system

This AMD motherboard allows further CPU upgrades in the future without changing any other components. The motherboard in the Magnus is the MSI PRO B650M-A, which gives you Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Ethernet at 2.5Gb/s, two NVMe SSD drive slots, plenty of USB ports and more. The motherboard supports 2 monitors, as it has one HDMI port and one DisplayPort. This motherboard can house the most powerful AMD CPUs without difficulty.

This system uses a Ryzen 7 9700X for its 8 core 16 thread count, giving you multi-tasking abilities without slowdown. This CPU runs at around 65w, saving electricity over the previous generation while providing more performance. This also brings down the cost of the CPU cooler, with a single tower unit being fully capable of cooling it.

AMD CPUs also provide excellent gaming performance while using less energy than Intel. As a result, we use air cooling in our systems for reliability and low maintenance. This build uses the ID-Cooling SE-214-XT Black single tower unit, capable of cooling up to 180w. This allows for capable cooling of the 9700X and other CPUs.

Most video editing, AI image modification and gaming upscaling systems work best with Nvidia GPUs. They also have shown to be more reliable and have the highest compatibility for the widest array of games. Thus, this system can be optioned with an RTX 4060.

Our chosen power supplies are made by Corsair for their reliability and performance. This also allows for custom cables (not included) to personalize your build if desired. The Magnus is built with a 750w power supply, allowing for higher tier CPUs and GPUs if desired.

This system comes with a 1TB WD_Black SN770 SSD. This drive has shown to be reliable and display high performance for any and all workloads. The motherboard has an additional SSD slot for adding another drive in the future.

We use low profile DDR5-6000 RAM, with low latency of CL30. This is considered an optimal configuration for AMD CPUs. The low-profile RAM allows for easy installation of any air-cooling units and 32GB is suitable for multi-tasking without slowdown.

The case is a Lian Li A3 mATX option with wood front panel accents. This allows for a small size whilst retaining quality and a pleasing design. The wood accented version of this case allows for more airflow and better build quality. Included with this case is a BeQuiet! Silent Wings 4 120mm fan, allowing for bottom air intake.
